FROG CON 2025- Gaming at The Idea Forge Creators Space

Event Description

An All-Day Community Gaming Event in Windham

Frog Con 2025 is hopping into Windham for a full day of tabletop fun, connection, and creativity! Join us at the Idea Forge Creators Space for a free, all-day gaming celebration inspired by Windham’s beloved frog mascot. Running from 10:00am to 10:00pm, Frog Con 2025 is open to the public, family-friendly, and welcoming to gamers of all experience levels—from curious beginners to seasoned strategy masters.

This community convention brings together a vibrant mix of board games, tabletop games, role-playing games (RPGs), collectible card games, and casual drop-in play, all under one roof. Whether you want to learn something new, dive into a longer campaign, or spend an hour rolling dice with friends, Frog Con is designed to be flexible, social, and approachable.

What to Expect at Frog Con 2025

Throughout the day, multiple rooms at the Idea Forge Creators Space will be alive with activity. Attendees can explore:

  • Open board game tables from our in-house game library

  • Tabletop and RPG sessions, including scheduled one-shots and learn-to-play opportunities

  • Card and casual games ideal for drop-in play

  • Bring-your-own-game tables for personal favorites

  • A flea market and gaming swap area to buy, sell, or trade games

While there will be a handful of structured game times, much of Frog Con is intentionally designed around free-play and open tables. Drop in for a single game or stay for the whole day—the pace is entirely up to you.

A Game Library Worth Exploring

Attendees will have access to the Idea Forge’s expansive board game library, featuring a curated mix of modern classics, cooperative adventures, and strategy favorites. Expect to find crowd-pleasers like Ticket to Ride, Wingspan, and Exploding Kittens alongside immersive experiences such as Betrayal at House on the Hill, Everdell Collector’s Edition, and Arkham Horror. These titles offer something for every style of player, from fast-paced party games to deep narrative and strategic play—and represent just a small sample of what will be available onsite.

Gamers are also encouraged to bring their own games, rulebooks, decks, and systems, helping to make Frog Con a true community exchange of ideas and play styles.

Frog Con 2025 is designed as a relaxed, come-as-you-are event. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and snacks, or to order food in from downtown Windham throughout the day. Comfortable spaces for breaks and socializing will be available, making it easy to spend as much—or as little—time gaming as you like.

This event is free to attend, with donations always appreciated. Community support helps sustain inclusive programming at the Idea Forge Creators Space.
