Great Basecamp No-bake Bake Off 2023

Come join us for the tastiest event of the year at Project Imo Basecamp Teen Center! Get ready for a fun-filled day of baking without the oven. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting out, this event is for everyone. Show off your creativity and teamwork skills as you work together to develop a themed display of no-bake gingerbread villages, ugly sweater cookie ornaments, and other holiday season crafts.
Infinity Web

Project Imo’s take on the classic spider web initiative. With our portable and adaptable Infinity web, you can adjust the cordage as you need for your group. Each Infinity Web is made to order and some variability will occur with cordage color. Selections of cordage color are available with our Custom Infinity Web option. This is an excellent, no-frills way to start with an affordable portable initiative program. PVC frames, paracord, shock cord, mini carabiner clips, and hook and loop wrap make this highly adjustable in an infinite pattern for various group capabilities and facilitation outcomes. We can make the Infinity Web with furniture grade, unmarked PVC (white, black, blue, purple, red, yellow, green, or orange). Contact teamimo@projectimo.org for a custom quote.
Trolleys

Challenge group communication and coordination with these adventure classics! These trolleys are solid timber with cordage handles and are intended for outdoor use (unless you hate your flooring). Your group stands between the ropes and walks like they’re on skis. This requires communication and coordination from everyone in the group and can be used to highlight leadership as well as followership skills too!
A-Frame

The objective is to move the A-frame about 30’ from point A to point B with one person standing in the center of the A. The A-frame must maintain at least one point of contact with the ground at all times. Only one person stands on the A-frame. He or she must try to avoid contact with the ground. The remainder of the group manages the ropes to keep the A-frame upright at all times. Through coordinated pulling and tension on the ropes, the group can move the A-frame forward in a series of rocking-motion steps. The A-frame participant can assist the movement with shifts in his or her body weight. The guide ropes cannot touch the ground.
Islands

Three wooden platforms are placed about six to eight feet apart. Two platforms are large enough to fit a small group of participants and one is smaller and typically placed between the other platforms. The group is given a set of wooden boards that are shorter than the distance between the platforms.
