Our theme this year... Step back into the dazzling Roaring Twenties as the Bellingham Room transforms. Picture shimmering lights, lively jazz, and the elegance of a bygone era where neighbors gathered not only to celebrate but to share in something greater than themselves. With open doors in the spirit of community and connection, this gala invites you to dress in your finest, dance beneath the glow of history, and give generously so that others in Windham may thrive. In this season of giving, let’s make our own story of abundance—not in wealth alone, but in compassion, care, and the joy of supporting one another.
The gala will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight in the historic Bellingham Room at Windham Town Hall, a setting that perfectly blends tradition and sophistication. Guests will enjoy an evening filled with local cuisine, live music, and dancing, along with an exciting silent auction featuring contributions from area businesses and artisans. The night is more than just a celebration—it is a testament to the power of community, as proceeds directly benefit three remarkable charities. With every ticket, every bid, and every shared moment, attendees will help ensure critical services continue to reach those who need them most.

This milestone marks not just the passage of time, but a clear testament to what’s possible when youth are trusted, supported, and inspired.

Windham/Willimantic CARES
“Windham / Willimantic CARES started 24 years ago to help bring joy and hope to local children and families during the holiday season. That year 365 children received toys, last year over 2,000 children received toys. Each year, starting September through December, we collect and distribute toys to ensure every child in our community experiences the magic of the holidays, regardless of financial hardship.
During the years we have become more than a holiday toys drive. CARES has helped hurricane victims in Puerto Rico, collected water bottles for children returning to school after covid, set up the first mask distribution during Covid, gift cards for federal employees shut out of their jobs during a government shutdown, raised funds to send Barrows students to a science competition out of state, collected food for the local Soup Kitchen and raised funds to help a police officers family during a medical process.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, we help create lasting memories and strengthen the spirit of care and unity in Windham / Willimantic”.

LINKED- Town of Windham
“Autism Safety Project builds trust and understanding between first responders and the Autism/special needs community in Windham / Willimantic. Through voluntary registration, families provide individualized information that helps police and fire personnel create safe, personalized response plans. With sensory packs, communication tools, and specialized training, the LINKED- Town of Windham program ensures every emergency response is compassionate, informed, and inclusive”
