DESCRIPTION:About the Build Day\nJoin us for the STEAM Futures Community Build Day at Project Imo’s Idea Forge Studios. A hands-on\, open making anything event where youth\, families\, and community members can continue building\, experimenting\, and creating using projects and tools from the STEAM Futures Workshop Series. \nThis Build Day invites participants to return to past projects or start something brand new. Supplies will be available for plush making\, puppets and mini stages\, mechanical builds\, light-up creations\, stickers and decals\, 3D printing\, and laser-engraved things and props. \nStaff and volunteers will be on hand to help guide projects\, demonstrate tools\, and support creative exploration at every skill level. \nWhether you attended one workshop or the whole series\, or are brand new to Idea Forge Studios\, this day is about making\, learning\, and having fun together. \n\nWhat to Expect\n\nOpen build stations using materials from past STEAM Futures workshops\nAccess to maker tools including crafting supplies\, electronics\, 3D printers\, and laser engraving (with staff support)\nOpportunities to continue past projects or create something completely new\nA relaxed\, welcoming environment for all ages\nInformal show-and-share moments throughout the day\n\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nYouth who participated in any STEAM Futures workshop\nFamilies and friends\nCommunity members curious about making and creative technology\nAdult makers and learners/li>\nSupporters\, partners\, and anyone curious about Project Imo’s Idea Forge\n\n\nCost\nFree and open to the community. \n\nLocation\nProject Imo – Idea Forge Studios \n\nAbout the STEAM Futures Workshop Series\nSTEAM Futures is a hands-on workshop series hosted at Project Imo’s Idea Forge Studios.
